The world number two Roger Federer defeated the world number one Rafael Nadal 6-4 6-3 in the Shanghai Master Final to win his sixth title of the year & 94th career title. Federer was in superb form & notched up his fifth victory in succession over Nadal. The victory now moves Federer level with Ivan Lendl of Open era titles, with only Jimmy Connors having more on 109 titles.
