Rafael Nadal has won his fifth Madrid Open title today by beating Dominic Thiem in straight sets 7-6 6-4 & now moves back into the top four in the world rankings. Nadal has now won 15 clay court matches in a row this season & adds the Madrid title to his Barcelona Open & Monte Carlo Masters victories. With his current form no one would bet against Nadal winning the French Open which starts on May 22nd.
