The second seed Roger Federer was on superb form to beat his fellow Swiss Stan Wawrinka in the semi-final of the US Open. Federer won in straight sets 6-4 6-3 6-1. In the other semi-final World number one Novak Djokovic thrashed the defending champion Marin Cilic just dropping 3 games 6-0 6-1 6-2.
It will be a mouth watering final with both players at the top of their game. Federer has not dropped a set on route to his first US Open Final since 2009, while Djokovic has the opportunity to win his 10th Grand Slam title.
