Andy Murray has been knocked out of the US Open in the forth round by big serving Kevin Anderson 7-6 6-3 6-7 7-6.
The match was four hours and 18 minutes of thrilling tennis under the lights. It is the first time Murray has not made the last eight at a Grand Slam since 2010. Anderson will now face Fifth seed Stan Wawrinka.
The second seed Roger Federer moves into the quarter-final stage with a straight sets victory against John Isner 7-6 7-6 7-5. Federer now meets 12th seed Richard Gasquet.
Jo Konta, US Open run has come to an end in the forth round by fifth seed Petra Kvitova 7-5 6-3. With this great run in the last Grand slam of the year, Konta world ranking will be inside the top 60.
