World number one Novak Djokovic will meet Rafael Nadal in the last four of the Montreal Masters after destroying Richard Gasquet 6-1 6-3 in just over an hour. Nadal had a straight sets victory 6-2 6-4 against Australian qualifier Marinko Matosevic. This will be the 36th meeting between the two players, with Nadal winning the head to head 20 – 15.
