The number one seed David Ferrer and world number 4 will play Stanislas Wawrinka in the final of the Portugal Open this afternoon. This will be the Spaniard 37th career final after beating Andreas Seppi from Italy in the semi – final 6-1 6-4. The second seed Wawrinka made it to the final after bringing to an end a great run of world ranked 228th Pablo Carreno-Busta in the other semi final, winning the match 6-3 3-6 6-1. Ferrer will be aiming for his 21st career title.
