The Czech Republic have retained the Davis Cup after beating Serbia 3-2 in Belgrade this evening. Novak Djokovic had made the tie level at 2-2 after defeating Tomas Berdych in straight sets 6-4 7-6 6-2. Then Radek Stepanek the world number 44 won the decisive rubber against Dusan Lajovic 6-3 6-3 6-1.
